  • How long does a kitchen renovation take ?
Once a layout has been agreed and final drawings are signed off a kitchen renovation typically takes from 5 - 8 weeks depending on the size, complexity of the design and the final finishes chosen. Manufacture and delivery is normally completed in 4 weeks with the final fitting taking 1 - 4 weeks including any necessary demolition works.
  • How much does a kitchen renovation cost ?
There is no “one size fits all”. Costs can vary tremendously depending on the type of renovation and the final finishes chosen. A basic renovation where you retain the existing layout, use cost-effective options for updating cabinetry (such as painting, resurfacing or replacing existing doors) can cost from $ 10,000 - $ 20,000. Choosing melamine doors, drawer fronts, dress panels, laminate benchtops and basic appliances can help keep costs down. A mid-range kitchen is likely to cost from $20,000 onwards depending on the size, style and final finishes chosen . This typically includes adapting your kitchen floor plan (which may mean repositioning plumbing and/or wiring) and installing custom-made cabinets that make the most of available space. Premium benchtops, such as natural stone or zero silica engineered stone, will enhance the look and durability of your kitchen, but will increase costs. A top-of-the-range kitchen typically costs at least $40,000+ and would include luxury benchtops, built in high-end appliances and custom-made cabinetry. Sophisticated lighting, top-of-the-range technology and special features like butler’s pantries will add cost.

  • Do I need a DA/Council approval for a new kitchen?
This isn’t usually necessary unless major building work or demolition is required i.e. removal of loadbearing walls. If your property is part of a strata title scheme you will need to talk to your body corporate to see if they have any applicable bylaws or additional requirements.
  • Do you supply drawings and 3D visualizations of our kitchen layout ?
Yes, after our initial home consultation and quote, once contracts are in place, we will carry out a more detailed consultation and a final check measure. We use this information to produce an initial layout and generate a full set of drawings and a 3D visualization for you. We can then refine this and show different options as many times as necessary until we agree a final layout, only then will the kitchen be manufactured.
